TAMB Directory Terms of Service

Welcome to being a part of the Creative Industries Initiative For Africa (CIIFA) doing business as CIIFA. 

These Terms of Service govern the use of the TAMB DIRECTORY (“we”, “us”, or “our”) website, services, and products by the Users (“you”, “your”). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

User Content and Conduct:

• • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if under 18.
  • Provide accurate and complete information about yourself.
  • You are solely responsible for any content you upload or submit to the TAMB Directory (“User Content”).
  • By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with the TAMB Directory.

Prohibited Content:

You are prohibited from submitting or uploading content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or racially or ethnically offensive.
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party, including, without limitation, copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret.
• Violates the privacy or publicity rights of any third party.
• False, misleading, or deceptive.
• Contains viruses or other malicious code.
• Intended to spam or solicit others.

User Responsibility: 

• You are solely responsible for any content you submit or upload to the TAMB Directory. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, permits, releases, and consents necessary to submit or upload such content to the Directory and to grant us the rights and licenses set forth in these Terms.

User Monitoring: 

• We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and edit or remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem otherwise inappropriate.

Account Management and Termination

Account Creation: 

Creating an account on the TAMB Directory is optional and requires you to provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

User Termination: 

We may terminate your account, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We will also terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Directory will be disabled and we may remove and discard any content you have submitted or uploaded.

   2. User Interaction with Third-Party Content: Your interactions with any third-party websites or resources accessed through the Site are governed by the terms and conditions of those third parties.
2. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: THE TAMB DIRECTORY IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE DIRECTORY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE DIRECTORY IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER MALICIOUS CODE.
3. Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE TAMB DIRECTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.
